Diving is more fun and more comfortable in your own equipment . The Equipment Techniques program teaches you how to choose the right equipment for your needs. You will learn how to fit, adjust , maintain and make small repairs right on the spot.
Class Description:
Equipment Maintenance Specialty is designed to increase your overall knowledge of your diving equipment. The course covers basic scuba equipment care and maintenance. Other areas that are explored include scuba equipment theory, materials, design and function.
This is a great way to expand your knowledge to help make better purchasing decisions and help keep your equipment in top condition. Your diving equipment is key to your personal safety and comfort in the water. This is your chance to really know and understand your scuba equipment.

Prerequisite:
Minimum age 15 years old.
Equipment Maintenance Specialty Certification
Open Water certification or the equivlent.
What Do I Need to Bring:
You will need to bring your manuals and workbooks to the classroom session.
Total duration of class is 4 hours.
Class Fees:
The cost of the class is $85.
Books, certification fees and diploma cost $49.83.
A deposit of $25.00 will hold your place in the class.
There will be a $25.00 rescheduling fee for anyone canceling a class with less than a 3-day notice.
All Specialty classes should be scheduled at least 5 days in advance
